Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State visited Femi Gbajabiamila, Speaker of the house of representatives in his Abuja residence on Saturday.
Wike who will soon be out of office as the Governor of Rivers after his successful 2- term tenure is believed to be shopping for a soft landing and continued relevance in the new government being put together under President – elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
This, watchers believe, is the reason for his current romance with the ruling party including the efforts he put into ensuring the party’s victory in the state during the presidential elections.
