NAICOM Organises Sensitisation Workshop for Enforcement JTF


The National Insurance Commission , Thursday, organised a sensitisation workshop for the Joint Taskforce on Enforcement of Compulsory Insurances in the FCT.
The enforcement exercise for the Federal Capital Territory which is to serve as the Pilot Scheme for the other locations is billed to commence in a few weeks time.
Some of the Taskforce members are the Nigeria Police Force, the Federal Road Safety Corp, the Federal Fire Service.
Others are the FCT Fire Service, Vehicle Inspection Officers (VIO), the Office of the Attorney General of the Federation and the Federal Capital Territory Administration.

The purpose of the workshop was to sensitise members of the Taskforce on the requirements of the law with respect to the compulsory insurances as well as the enforcement modalities to be adopted by the taskforce Committee.
