CBN Appoints New Executives for Union Bank, Keystone Bank, and Polaris Bank


Following the dissolution of the Board and Management of Union Bank, Keystone Bank and Polaris Bank on Wednesday, January 10,the CBN has appointed new executives to oversee the affairs of the banks.


For Union Bank Yetunde Oni has been appointed Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer with Mannir Ubali Ringim as Executive Director while at Keystone Bank Hassan Imam tales over as Managing Director/ Chief Executive Officer with Chioma A. Mang as Executive Director.


Similarly, Lawal Mudathir Omokayode Akintola has been appointed as Managing Director/ Chief Executive Officer of Polaris Bank while Chris Onyeka Ofikulu becomes Executive Director.


According to the CBN spokesperson, SidiAli, Hakama (Mrs.) the appointments which were announced same day take immediate effect thereby averting any vacuum.
