Omede Urges Residents, Party Supporters to Participate Massively in PDP e-Registration

The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Dekina Local Government Area of Kogi State, Hon. Abdullahi Omede, has called on residents and supporters of the party to take advantage of the ongoing electronic membership registration to strengthen the party’s structure at the grassroots.

Hon. Omede made the appeal while encouraging both new and existing members to participate actively in the PDP e-registration exercise, describing it as an important step toward rebuilding and consolidating the party’s support base ahead of future political engagements.

According to him, the digital registration initiative provides an opportunity for Nigerians to reaffirm their commitment to the PDP and demonstrate that the party remains a formidable political force in the country.

“Let us take advantage of the e-registration to tell Nigerians that PDP is still the party to beat. We are ready to take power back to the people,” he said.

The Dekina PDP chairman also urged members and supporters not to be misled by speculations suggesting that the party has weakened due to internal disagreements.

He explained that while the party had experienced some internal challenges, they were temporary and had not diminished the PDP’s strength or relevance, especially at the grassroots level.

“People should not be deceived by the noise going around that the PDP is not on ground because of the little internal crisis we had. We are back and stronger,” Omede stated.

Reaffirming the party’s dominance in the area, he emphasized that the people of Dekina have historically identified strongly with the PDP and remain committed to its ideals and leadership.

“Dekina Local Government is PDP, and PDP is Dekina Local Government,” he added.

Hon. Omede therefore encouraged party faithful, youths, women, and other stakeholders across the local government to participate fully in the e-registration exercise, noting that the initiative would help strengthen the party’s membership database and prepare it for future electoral success.
