RB Leipzig manager Jesse March has showered praises on his midfielder Christopher Nkunku ahead of their meeting with Club Brugge. The Congolese midfield maestro has been in imperious form all season and netted a brace in his last outing a 6-0 demolition of Hertha Berlin.
The American manager was effusive in his praise for the player, he said ” we have spoken to Christopher a lot about playing on the counter, and also what he needs to do to play as a striker, a number 10 and on both wings. Christopher has no weaknesses, he is young and still wants a lot more.”
The praise was totally merited as the former PSG man has sparkled so far with his brace last weekend making it six goals in eight matches for the German giants. In their last champions league outing Nkunku plundered a hattrick albeit in a losing effort against Manchester City scoring all of Leipzig’s goals as they fell 6-3 to the Cityzens. In the process he became the first player to score a hattrick in the Champions League for Leipzig and only the second to do so against Manchester City in the competition, the other person to do so is Lionel Messi who City face again tonight and whom Nkunku and Leipzig will face later on.
