APC Revises Timetable, To Hold Osun Gov Primary February 19

In accordance with the provisions of the Electoral Act 2010 (as amended) and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) guidelines, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has released a revised timetable and schedule of activities for the conduct of the 2022 Governorship Primary Election in Osun State. 

This was contained in the Party’s official notice signed by the National Secretary, APC Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC), Sen. John James Akpanudoedehe.

The new timetable provides for Notice of Election to the State Chapter on Wednesday 17th November, 2021 while sale of forms at the national Secretariat held Thursday 18th November, 2021.
The last Day for Submission of Completed Forms and accompanying documents at the national Secretariat is Wednesday 9th February, 2022 followed by the Screening of Aspirants the next day Thursday 10th February, 2022

Claims and objections are to be announced 12th February, 2022 while screening Appeals holds on 15th February, 2022.
The primary election will then take place on Saturday 19th February, 2022 with Election Appeal holding Tuesday 22nd February, 2022
Also, the party has fixed the sale of nomination form at N20 million and the expression of interest form at N2.5million making a total of N22.5m, while female aspirants and physically challenged aspirants are to pay only 50% of the prescribed fees.
