Again, Jonathan Hails Yaradua as Peacemaker, Democrat, 11 Years After Demise


Former President Goodluck Jonathan has again honored the memory of his former principal and predecessor in office, late President Musa Yar’adua on the eleventh anniversary of his demise.
In his tribute earlier today, Jonathan stated “Today I celebrate my boss, friend, colleague and brother, President Umar Musa Yar’adua who departed this world 11 years ago.
Reflecting, he said they both shared a common vision of a peaceful, united and just nation adding that the late President kept faith with the vision until his last breath.
Continuing, he said though he is now out of sight “his legacies lives with us and his memory we will continue to cherish.
“We will always remember him as a Peacemaker, Nation builder and democrat whose timeline was defined by virtues of service, peace, truth and love.
