PENCOM Bags ISO Award in ISMS Category


The National Pension Commission has won the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) Award on Information Security Management System.
The Commission’s statement released on Thursday revealed that the Professional Evaluation and Certification Board (PECB) evaluated it and certified that it had met the ISO 2700 1: 2013 standard in all areas of its operations.
The Certificate of Compliance was issued to the Commission on 8th of January 2021.
The Commission clearly expressed its elation on the achievement saying “its certification is an important demonstration of the Commission’s commitment to the highest standards of confidentiality, integrity and availability of data on contributors.
“It is also an affirmation that the Commission put in place, business control and management processes to safeguard its information assets from threats and vulnerabilities.
