TCN Hits New Peak Record …24 Hours After

While still basking in the euphoria of the last peak transmission of 5615.40MW which it achieved Sunday, the Transmission Company of Nigeria says it has successfully transmitted an enhanced peak generation of 5,801.60MW at 9:30pm yesterday, Monday March 1st, 2021. The latest peak generation was transmitted at a frequency was 50.09Hz.
This value is higher than its record of Sunday February 28, 2021, by 186.20MW.
This translates to two new peaks within twenty-four (24) hours.
