The Honourable Minister of State, Budget and National Planning, Prince Clem Agba, has received a high-level delegation from the Global Open Government Partnership (OGP), who is in Nigeria to drum up support for the sustainability of the OGP programme in the country.
Agba received the OGP CEO, Sanjay Pradhan and OGP co-chair, Aidan Eyakuze, on Monday, July 25, 2022, at the Budget building in Abuja.
Speaking at the meeting, the Minister highlighted the progress made in promoting transparency, including the recent approval of Nigeria’s membership of the Beneficial Ownership Leadership Group by President
Muhammadu Buhari, and the digitisation of the Monitoring and Evaluation process with the launch of the Eyemark application.
After meeting with the Minister, the OGP Global stakeholders had another meeting with Civil Society Organizations (CSO) today. The delegates also payed a visit to the OGP secretariat among others activities.
