Greenwood the hero again as Manchester United break EPL record

 .

Mason Greenwood continued his superb goalscoring form as Manchester United pipped a spirited Wolverhampton Wanderers 1-0 at the Molineux. This victory ensured that Manchester United broke the all time Premier League unbeaten away record.

United had to do things the hard way as Wolves came firing out of the blocks. Adams Traore, a menace all match started an early counter attack from which striker Jimenez forced a save from United goalkeeper David De Gea. Wolves went even closer when Francisco Trincao’s strike was cleared off the line by Aaron Wan Bissaka. United offered next to nothing in the first half with only one chance of note, a Mason Greenwood shot that fizzed past the post.

In the second half the red devils had De Gea to thank after he produced a phenomenal double stop to keep out Roman Saiss following a Wolves corner. United grew into the game however and stole all three points through Mason Greenwood. The young forward collected from debutant Raphael Varane and struck from an acute angle though Wolves keeper Jose Sa really should have done better.

The win takes Manchester United to twenty-eight games unbeaten away from home eclipsing the previous record of twenty-seven which they had previously shared with Arsenal.
