Former US President, Jimmy Carter, Dies at 100

Former President of the United States of America, James Earl Carter Jr, more popularly known as Jimmy Carter, has died at the age of 100.

Born Oct 1, 1924 in Plains, Georgia to James Earl Carter Snr and Bessy Lillian Gordy, Jimmy Carter died yesterday December 29, 2024 at a little over 100 years.

Carter, was the 39th President of the United States, who held office from 1977 to 1981 and served only one tenure.

After his presidency he dedicated himself to humanitarian services which included deworming children around the world.

He was aclose friend and confidant of Nigeria’s former President Olusegun Obasanjo
