Fuel Queues: Logistics Challenges Have Been Resolved — NNPC Ltd

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd) has identified logistics issues as been responsible for the tightness in the supply of Premium Motor Spirit currently being experienced in some areas across the country.

For about a week now, queues have suddenly resurfaced at fuel stations in many parts of the country including Abuja, the Federal Capital city fuelling speculations of an official price hike. In many cases , buyers have had to contend with as high a price as N1000 per liter at the black market.

However, the company assured that the issues have been resolved while reiterating that the prices of petroleum products are not changing.

This assurance is contained in a statement released the company signed by its Chief Corporate Communications Officer,Olufemi Soneye.

It therefore urges Nigerians to avoid panic buying as there is a sufficiency of products in the country.
