APC Sets up, Inaugurates Registration Appeal Committee

The All Progressives Congress on Sunday announced the constitution of a committee to hear and determine issues that may arise from the on- going membership registration exercise of the party.
The announcement was made via a statement by the Secretary to the CECPC of the party Senator John James Akpanudoedehe.
According to him the appointment by the Caretaker Chairman of the partywas based on the resolution of the Caretaker Extraordinary/Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) at its 9th meeting of 9th April 2021.

“As a responsible organization, the party is not oblivious of the fact that with the sheer magnitude and scope of the nationwide Membership Registration, Revalidation and Update Exercise of our party which has captured unprecedented numbers of our party faithful, it is expected that there may have been few isolated cases or pockets of glitches, despite the huge successes recorded.

“Therefore, in line with the guidelines and template for the exercise, the Registration Appeals Committee shall sit across the six (6) geopolitical zones and attend to all complaints and dissatisfaction(s) arising from the conduct of the Membership Registration, Revalidation and Update Exercise.
The 18-member committee has Hon. Farouk Adamu as Chairman while Hon. Victor Giadom – is the Secretary.
Others include Emperor Chris Baywood, Sen. Khairat Gwadabe, Alh. Misha’u Lawan Didi, Hauwa Grema Mohammed, Chief Niyi Akintola (SAN), Sen. Ita Enang, Sen. John Owan Enoh, Hon. Ejike Njeze, Abubakar Mohammed Danjuma and Amb. Jerry Sonny Ugokwe, Ph.D.
The rest are Amb. Hassan Ardo, Barr. Mary Ekpere, Barr. Fola Vincent, Dabiu Gambari, Alh. Tijani Siaka Alfa and Grace Idakwo
The inauguration of the Committee is scheduled for Thursday 15th April, 2021 at 11am at the National Secretariat of the party.
